Starting August 1st, tram lines No. 3 and 4 will resume service to the Tondi terminus.

This July, in response to an exceptional heatwave, Tallinn is prepared to open three cooling centers at Kaja Cultural Center, Salme Cultural Center, and Tondiraba Ice Hall. The city is also developing an emergency plan to address extreme heat conditions.

Due to construction work at the intersection of Tööstuse, Kopli, and Sitsi streets, the route of bus line No. 73 will be temporarily altered in both directions from July 22 to August 11. Additional stops will also be introduced.

On Sunday, July 21, the Lauri Aus memorial competition will take place, resulting in changes to the bus routes in the Pirita area. These changes will affect bus lines No. 1, 6, 8, 34, and 38.

An additional tram line branch will be established at Tallinn Airport by early 2026, allowing trams to pass each other, tighten schedules if necessary, and potentially open an additional tram line to the airport in the future.

Yesterday, the international sailing training regatta, Tall Ships Races Tallinn 2024, concluded with a historic maritime parade in the three harbors of Tallinn. Both the Tall Ships Races vessels and those participating in the Muhu Väina regatta joined forces for an impressive display on the bay of Tallinn.

Yesterday's Tall Ships Races Tallinn 2024 maritime festival delighted visitors with Grillfest’s fish grilling competition, a tugboat dance, and a well-attended night song festival where everyone could to sing along.

The second day of the international sailing training regatta, The Tall Ships Races Tallinn, offered visitors an exciting parade of sailing trainees and ship crews, along with performances by well-known Estonian artists across all three harbors.

Due to filming activities, there will be short-term traffic stoppages of up to three minutes on Sunday morning, July 14, on Laagna tee, Veskiposti street, and at the Haabersti roundabout. Additionally, there will be stoppages on Pirita tee on Tuesday evening.

On Thursday morning, 60 large and small sailing ships of the international sailing training regatta Tall Ships Races arrived at three ports in Tallinn. The event opened with the concert "Lainel" („On the wave“) which was specifically created for this opening.
