Põhja-Tallinn’s comprehensive plan focuses on high-quality urban environment

The Tallinn City Government has submitted the Põhja-Tallinn comprehensive plan to the City Council for adoption. The plan outlines the district’s spatial development for the next couple of decades. This strategic document aims to address the area’s major challenges: opening up long-closed seafront and former industrial areas, as well as improving mobility within Põhja-Tallinn and connections to other districts.

Baltic Sea Day: preventing marine litter starts with us

On 28 August, Baltic Sea countries mark Baltic Sea Day, highlighting the state of our shared sea and the need to protect it. In recent years, marine litter has become a serious problem, threatening nature, coastal residents, and the regional economy. Since most of the litter comes from land, preventing it is in everyone’s hands.

New bus line connects Ülemiste City and Peetri

From 1 September, Tallinn, in cooperation with Rae Municipality and Põhja-Eesti Ühistranspordikeskus (North-Estonia Public Transport Centre), will launch bus line No. 47, connecting Ülemiste City and Peetri. Initially, the new line will operate until the end of this year.
