The international sail training organization Sail Training International has confirmed the host ports for the 2028 Tall Ships Races regatta. One of the selected ports is Tallinn.
This October, the county bus layover area at Balti jaam station will be closed. As a result, the final stops for many county lines in Tallinn will be relocated, with buses instead terminating at Vabaduse väljak, Viru väljak, and Teatri väljak.

On Saturday, May 17, the LHV Maijooks running event will take place, causing partial or full closures of certain streets in the city centre and Pirita district between 12:30 and 15:00. The event will also affect the operation of bus lines no. 1, 5, 6, 8, 34, 38, and 49.
