Renovated Vana-Kalamaja Street to be reopened

The reconstruction works on Vana-Kalamaja Street in Põhja-Tallinn are approaching completion. The project resulted in a high-quality urban space that ensures safe and comfortable travel for people, with a focus on promoting walking and cycling. The renovated street will be opened during a street festival, which takes place from 1-3 September. The regular route of bus line number 3 will resume on 1 September and the street will reopen to car traffic on the evening of 3 September.

Tallinn’s public water supply and sewerage development plan to be finalised

The city of Tallinn has drawn up a plan for the development of public water supply and sewerage that sets the course for the development of Tallinn's water sector for the next 12 years. The public discussion of the development plan will take place on 25 April at 5:30pm at the Tallinn Presentation Centre (Vabaduse väljak 7, first floor). Feedback on the development plan can be given until 4 May 2023.

Construction began on cycling path linking Lasnamäe to Tallinn centre

On the order of the Tallinn Urban Environment and Public Works Department, the construction of a pedestrian and cycling path, linking the Lasnamäe cycle route to the city centre, started on 28 June. In the first stage, a section of the road will be created from Tondiraba Park to Vana-Kuuli street. The contractual deadline for the cycling path is November 2022.
