City government appoints new district heads for Kesklinn and Pirita
At today’s meeting, the Tallinn City Government appointed new district governors for Kesklinn and Pirita. Starting from August 20th, Ahti Kallikorm will lead the Kesklinn district, and Ivan Lavrentjev will head the Pirita district.
EuroPark to provide Tallinn’s paid parking service
From 2 September, paid public parking in Tallinn will be operated by OÜ EuroPark Estonia, replacing AS Ühisteenused. The change of service provider is technical and does not affect the principles or pricing of parking.
From September, bus line no. 1 will run further into Viimsi
In February, the City of Tallinn and Viimsi Municipality signed a joint memorandum of understanding, under which bus line No. 1, which currently ends in Viimsi Centre, will be extended to Vimka Ski Centre starting 1 September.

IRONMAN Tallinn to temporarily close streets and change bus routes
Next weekend, 23–24 August, the international triathlon IRONMAN Tallinn 2025 will cause temporary traffic restrictions and changes in both Tallinn and Harju County. In Tallinn, these changes will mainly affect Haabersti and Põhja-Tallinn districts, with parking and traffic restrictions as well as adjustments to public transport timetables.
