Tallinn was awarded the "Rescuer City" honorary distinction by the President of Ukraine at the IV International Summit of Cities and Regions held in Kyiv. The distinction was received by the Chairman of the Tallinn City Council, Mihhail Kõlvart, who served as Mayor of Tallinn from 2019 to 2024.

The Tallinn Old Town Days programme for 5–7 June has now been announced! This year’s festival focuses on theatre and performing arts. The Old Town will be transformed into a vast stage, where visitors are accompanied at every step by performances, balcony concerts, and vibrant street life.

On 24–25 September, the international City Resilience Hack will take place in Tallinn, bringing together talent, teams and startups to develop practical solutions for challenges related to urban resilience, continuity of services and stronger communities. The hackathon prize fund is €75,000, and the best teams will have the opportunity to move forward to pilot projects in cooperation with partner cities.
