Tallinn passes Summer Capital title to Pärnu

Today marks the beginning of astronomical summer, and with it, Pärnu becomes the summer capital. Tallinn's Deputy Mayor Viljar Jaamu will officially hand over the title of summer capital, along with the ceremonial baton, to the Mayor of Pärnu during the event "Hello, Pärnu Summer" on Friday, June 21, at 18:30.

Construction of Kadaka puiestee viaduct to begin in July

On Wednesday, July 3, construction will begin on Kadaka puiestee to replace the current deteriorating overpass with a new viaduct. This project aims to ensure a safer traffic environment for all road users, including pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles. The construction will result in changes to traffic arrangements and public transport operations.

Program announced: Tall Ships Races brings over 60 sailing ships and a maritime festival to Tallinn

From July 11 to 14, Tallinn will host the world’s largest sailing training regatta, Tall Ships Races, at Lennusadam, Noblessner Harbour, and the Old City Harbour cruise area. Over the course of four days, the harbors will be filled with a festive atmosphere – visitors can explore sailing ships, enjoy performances by Estonia’s top artists, and participate in activities both on land and at sea.

Hipodroomi intersection design to remain unchanged

The Tallinn City Government has decided to proceed with the current design plan for the Hipodroomi intersection development, as it accommodates all modes of transportation and offers sufficient traffic capacity. The city supports the developer in the swift implementation of the project.
