Measures to increase safety around schools to be implemented
The initial phase of Tallinn's “Safe School Route” (“Turvaline koolitee”) program is set to focus on 14 schools within the city, addressing safety challenges around school vicinities such as safe sidewalks, bike lanes, street crossings, parking areas, and the implementation of traffic calming measures. Over the coming years, the program is planned to expand, encompassing all schools within Tallinn that require similar safety enhancements in their surrounding areas.
Housing association seminars continue online
Tallinn City Property Department will continue with the seminars for housing associations that have been organized since autumn 2019. Today, 14 December, at 3 pm, all interested parties can follow the webinar "30 minutes on lock assistance services for housing associations" on the Tallinn City Council's Facebook page.
Tallinn acquires ten mobile generators to boost crisis preparedness
The Tallinn Municipal Property Board this week launched a public procurement for the purchase of ten portable generators to ensure the continuity of Tallinn's buildings in the event of a permanent power outage. The deadline for submission of tenders is 20 January at 10am.
