Today, 24 September, the Day of National Minorities in Estonia will be celebrated in Tallinn with a series of events introducing the cultures, tastes, and music of various nations as part of the Days of National Cultures programme.

Starting in August, nearly a hundred new road safety towns are established in Tallinn kindergarten to help small citizens learn how to safely participate in traffic and consider fellow road users.

On Saturday, May 1, the ship Vesta will sail again between Tallinn and Aegna Island, leaving the Linnahall quay from Patarei Harbour.

Until the beginning of December, a new public transport vehicle with two bellows will be tested on Tallinn trolleybus lines, which can run as a trolley in the city centre, but can also disconnect its poles from the overhead wires if necessary and run on battery power like an electric bus.

In the coming months, the waiting area of ​​nearly 600 public transport stops and stations in Tallinn will be marked as smoke-free areas on the asphalt in order to improve the quality and comfort of the public transport service.

The Tallinn City Government has developed solutions that create more than 16 kilometres of safer lanes and routes for cyclists in the city centre.
