Starting 1 June, Tallinn public transport will switch to its summer schedule, resulting in changes to timetables. In addition, several updates will be made to the public transport route network, as well as to stop names and locations.
Due to a water main break on Laikmaa Street, the routes of bus lines no. 14, 18, 18A, 20, 20A, and 31 will be temporarily changed in the city centre from 9:00 on 15 May until 5:30 on 16 May.
On Saturday, May 17, the LHV Maijooks running event will take place, causing partial or full closures of certain streets in the city centre and Pirita district between 12:30 and 15:00. The event will also affect the operation of bus lines no. 1, 5, 6, 8, 34, 38, and 49.
On Sunday, 27 April, construction works will take place on Estonia puiestee between Kentmanni and Sakala streets, affecting traffic in the area as well as the routes and stops of several bus lines.
In regard to Victory Day and St John’s Day, on Friday 23 June and Saturday 24 June, Tallinn public transport will be operating per the Sunday timetable.
Starting from 1 August, several bus line numbers and routes will be changed – the changes will affect lines number 8, 17, 17A, 35, 42, 43, 48, 67 and 68.
Next weekend, on 5 and 6 August, the international triathlon competition IRONMAN Tallinn 2023 will take place, leading to temporary traffic restrictions and changes in traffic in Tallinn and Harjumaa. In Tallinn, the changes mainly affect the Haabersti district. Parking and car traffic will be restricted, and there will be changes to public transport schedules.
