On Monday, 20 February, at 10 am traffic regulations will change on Pronksi street. On Pronksi and Jõe streets one lane will be opened on both streets in both directions.
The City of Tallinn will support live music venues in the city in the winter and spring of 2023 as part of the City of Music activities. The city has allocated a total of €72 000 to five concert venues.
From 14 February it is possible to file personal income tax returns. Under the Income Tax Act, parents can deduct school fees paid for their children (for example kindergarten fees, fees for hobby groups etc.) from their income for the previous year.
The City of Tallinn is planning a reconstruction of Valge street in Lasnamäe. The aim of the reconstruction is to make the road more accessible and safer for all road users. The public presentation of the project will take place on 21 February at 5:30 pm at the Lasnamäe District Government (Pallasti 54).
Due to the reconstruction works, Pronksi tn will be closed to normal traffic from 10 March from 7 pm until 12 March at 10 pm in the section from Narva mnt to Tartu mnt. Normal traffic will be maintained along Gonsiori tn, and from Tartu mnt and Liivalaia tn it will be possible to travel along Pronksi tn until J. Kunderi tn.
This year the City of Tallinn offers free legal advice to residents on ten consultation days, scheduled in each city district. The first consultation day will take place this Friday, 17 March from 9 am to 6 pm at the Nõmme District Government.
On Saturday, May 15, Tallinn Day will be celebrated for the 20th time. In view of the current restrictions, various opportunities will be offered to participate in Tallinn Day from the beginning of the week.
Construction work on Tallinna Vesi’s water and sewer lines continues on Suur-Ameerika street. The project has reached a phase where previously closed sections will begin to reopen to traffic.
Due to construction work, the Mere puiestee bus stop will be closed from July 3, and the Vabaduse väljak stops on Kaarli puiestee towards the city centre will be closed from July 8. The project includes the construction of new bike and pedestrian paths, tree planting, and the reconstruction of water and sewer systems.
