The City of Tallinn is taking the next step in building a new tram line – preparations for the construction of the Pelguranna tram line are moving into the design phase. A total of 11 political parties, three electoral alliances, and 13 independent candidates have submitted their registration documents for the upcoming Tallinn City Council elections. In total, 1,125 candidates are competing for seats in the new City Council, which will be elected on 19 October. Candidate numbers will be assigned by a draw this Friday.
