On Tuesday, May 20, the grand finale of a business idea competition for Ukrainian women living in Estonia took place at the Jaan Poska House. Now in its third year, the initiative aims to support Ukrainian women’s entrepreneurship and increase their visibility and economic activity in Estonia.

The Tallinn City Government decided at its cabinet meeting on 19 May to initiate negotiations with Tallinna Linnatransport (TLT) to ensure the provision of street lighting and electrical installation maintenance services starting from 1 August 2025.

This year, the City of Tallinn will install more benches than usual, primarily to improve independent mobility for the elderly. New benches will be added not only to the streets of the city centre and other districts but also to parks and green spaces.

The NATO DIANA innovation accelerator has announced its third annual set of challenges and opened a new call for applications. DIANA’s mission is to discover the next generation of dual-use deep technologies to help advance its mission of building a peaceful, secure, and resilient future.

From 21–24 May 2025, Tallinn will host Latitude59, the leading international conference in the region for technology and startups. The City of Tallinn is actively contributing to the event with substantive partnerships, side events, and an exhibition booth at Kultuurikatel.

From 12 to 16 May, 32 guided running sessions took place in Tallinn, the European Capital of Sport, attracting nearly 700 movement enthusiasts.
