This year’s Tallinn Old Town Days offer fresh view for townsfolk
The 41st Tallinn Old Town Days are set to take place from Friday to Sunday, 2-4 June. The streets, courtyards, parks and green spaces of the Old Town will be filled with a diverse and exciting programme. All in all, there will be over 40 concerts and more than 300 events, with this year’s theme being ‘Fresh View’.
Tallinn reaches agreement with OÜ BCA Center on school management contracts
As a result of the negotiations between the City of Tallinn and OÜ BCA Center, the terms of the management contracts of five schools will become more favourable for the city and the city will save nearly 17.6 million euros during the contract period.
Temporary changes to traffic on Liivalaia street and Tartu maantee intersection until end of June
Construction works on the district cooling network will be taking place on the Tartu maantee and Liivalaia street intersection from Sunday, 11 June to 30 June. Portable bridges ensure the intersection will remain open during construction works, however, one of the two left turn lanes heading onto Liivalaia street will be temporarily closed.

Next stage of Vanasadam tramway construction to affect tram traffic and cause traffic changes
From Monday, 3 July, the Narva mnt-Hobujaama-Laikmaa intersection will be closed as part of the next stage of the Vanasadam tramway construction. As such, tram lines 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be halted until the end of August. Viru terminal will be temporarily closed and public transport redirected.
Regulators to manage traffic in the Tallinn city centre during rush hour
Traffic regulators are deployed at the Viru roundabout during rush hours to facilitate traffic flow and ensure traffic safety.
Tallinn night bus pilot project extended until end of October
The Tallinn night bus pilot project, which began in May, will run until the end of October instead of the initially planned 17 September. The last night buses of the trial period will run on 29 October.
Two Pronksi Street intersections now open to traffic
Pronksi Street reconstruction works continue in Tallinn City Centre; however, starting today, the Pronksi–Raua and Pronksi–Gonsiori intersections are open to traffic.
