Until October 8th, all residents of Tallinn have the opportunity to submit ideas for next year's participatory budget projects. In the past two weeks, 222 proposals have been submitted, with the most active participation coming from the Nõmme and Kesklinn districts.

Tallinn is set to continue its support for international conferences, a initiative started last year, with funding for 28 international conferences, several of which will take place in 2024. The budget for this support measure is 275,000 euros.

The 20th annual Tallinn Entrepreneurship Day takes place on September 26th at the Viru Conference Center. The theme of the event is "Skills that Matter in Future Entrepreneurship," emphasizing the development of entrepreneurial skills and their significance in a changing business environment.

Since opening in mid-November, Tallinn's ice rinks have already welcomed over 20,000 visitors within three weeks. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the winter season at Tallinn's ice rinks – local schools can organize free skating sessions, and seniors have special times set aside for complimentary visits.

In October, as part of the URBACT program, representatives of the Cities After Dark network from Braga visited Tallinn to meet with representatives of the city's nightlife sector and discuss future cooperation.

Young athletes from Tallinn have once again been given the opportunity to apply to the Tallinn Sports School competitive athlete programme. For the first time, applications are also open to deaf and para-athletes. Applications for the next two seasons can be submitted until 19 June 2023.

The City Government has approved the detailed planning for properties located in Põhja-Tallinn at Telliskivi Street 62 and 64, at A. Adamson Street 12 in the city centre, along with adjacent properties at Kevade Street 8. Additionally, the detailed planning for properties at Apteegi Street 3, 5, 7, and 9 was initiated.
