This week, every citizen eligible to vote can find out how, where and when to cast their vote in the upcoming Parliamentary elections via the e-voting register.
The City of Tallinn will support live music venues in the city in the winter and spring of 2023 as part of the City of Music activities. The city has allocated a total of €72 000 to five concert venues.

Today, on 21 February, the new building of Tallinn Rõõmupesa kindergarten (A. H. Tammsaare tee 141) was officially opened in Mustamäe district. The building, which has ten classrooms, can accommodate up to 240 children. The nursery has recreation classes, a gym, a hall and a study room.
The parents of 47 newborns received name certificates during the ceremony held at Town Hall today. The name certificates were given out with folders which were decorated with the city's coat of arms.
The City of Tallinn has signed a 21-year contract with JCDecaux Eesti OÜ for the installation and maintenance of new public bus shelters, public outdoor areas, advertising and city information screens. JCDecaux Eesti OÜ will have the right to display outdoor advertising on these buildings.
On Friday 20 January, Tallinn will host the inaugural conference of the European Green Capital Year for Sustainable Cities "Fantastic Creatures: Making European Cities Safe, Inclusive, Resilient and Sustainable". The opening speeches will be delivered by Virginijus Sinkevičius, European Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries and Mayor Mihhail Kõlvart.
At the traditional annual conference and thanksgiving event of the Estonian Music Schools Association, Tallinn Music and Ballet School awarded the City of Tallinn the title "Friend of Music Education 2022".
This year, the City of Tallinn is hosting and supporting nearly 100 high-level international sporting events, including 20 European Championships, World Cups and European Cups. The City of Tallinn supports the organization of international sporting events with a total of €715 000.
