Tallinn is making investments into smart solutions for companies
The Tallinnovation competition, which supports smart city solutions, received ten applications this year. The city of Tallinn, along with the Tehnopol Science and Business Park, chose four winners from among the ten applicants. The winners will receive 100,000 euros of investment, which is a record-breaking sum.

Construction work on second phase of Vanasadama tram line to divert 27 bus lines
On Tuesday, 4 April, the second phase of the Vanasadam tram line construction work will begin and with that, Hobujaama Street and half of Laikmaa Street in the direction of Gonsiori Street will be closed. Narva mnt and the Hobujaama intersection will remain open. The construction work will cause changes to 27 bus line routes.
Tallinn wants to lower speed limits for electric scooters and make parking safer
Today, the representatives of state and municipal authorities will meet with electric scooter rental companies to discuss road safety for the upcoming season. The meeting focuses on lowering speed limits and organising convenient and safe parking for personal light electric vehicles.
Kunderi Street closed to traffic from Monday
From Monday, 3 April to 28 April, Kunderi Street will be closed to traffic because of the total reconstruction work on Jõe-Pronksi streets.
Tallinn’s supplementary budget brings an additional thousand trees to the cityscape
The Tallinn City Government submitted a draft of the third supplementary budget of 2023 to the city council. According to the draft, the city budget will increase by 46.5 million euros. Should the draft be adopted, the final budget for 2023 will be 1.18 billion euros.

Vanasadam tramway construction alters traffic around Tallinn Creative Hub
The construction of the Vanasadam tramway will cause traffic changes in the area around the intersection of Kursi Street and Põhja pst. until mid-September. From Tuesday 6 June, the section of Kursi Street in front of the Tallinn Creative Hub will be closed to traffic. From 26 June, the intersection of Põhja pst. and Kursi Street will also be closed.
