The Tallinn Urban Environment and Public Works Department and the Tallinn City Centre Administration have introduced redevelopment plans for Petrooleumi Street.
The City of Tallinn is developing a modern urban space on Mustjõe and Värvi streets, including new safe pedestrian and cycling paths, traffic-calming measures, greenery, and a recreational area.
Odra Street will be closed to traffic from March 5 to June 15, 2025, due to construction work. Access for local residents, pedestrians, and cyclists will be maintained throughout the construction period. During this time, access to the Tallinn Bus Station will also be temporarily modified.
Tallinna Vesi will install a stormwater drainage system, Utilitas will upgrade the district heating network, and the city will widen sidewalks, implement traffic-calming measures, and reconstruct street lighting. The goal of these upgrades is to make Salme Street more accessible and safer, particularly for children and the elderly.
Due to the next stage in pipeline construction works and the reconstruction of the Sõpruse puiestee and Tihase tänav intersection, Sõpruse puiestee will be partially closed to traffic within the construction zones from 22-28 August.
Kristiine District Administration announces that from April 11 at 08:30 to May 15 at 17:00, AS Utilitas will carry out the construction of a heat pipe on Tondi Street (from the intersection of Linnu tee and Tondi street to Seebi street).
