To vote in the Tallinn City Council elections, a voter’s official address in the population register must be in Tallinn no later than 19 September 2025. The voter lists are compiled based on the population register data as of that date.

Today, on September 2, Tallinn’s partner city Odesa celebrates its City Day, which is linked to the city’s official founding in 1794. The date is marked with festive events, concerts, and cultural programs.

From 2 September, paid public parking in Tallinn will be operated by OÜ EuroPark Estonia, replacing AS Ühisteenused. The change of service provider is technical and does not affect the principles or pricing of parking.

During the last two weekends of October, residents of Tallinn can once again give away hazardous waste free of charge. On October 23, hazardous waste are collected in Kesklinn and Lasnamäe, on October 24 in Kristiine and Põhja-Tallin, on October 30 in Pirita and Mustamäe, and on October 31 in Haabersti and Nõmme.
