Tallinn invites everyone to welcome the New Year at Freedom Square, where the celebration will feature a concert with performances by ensemble LAINE, folk-infused beats of Trad.Attack!, rapper nublu and an innovative light show titled “New Beginning.” Due to the concert, there will be traffic closures in the area and rerouted public transport lines to accommodate the festivities.

With the Green Card update project, Tallinn is participating in the Global Mayors Challenge organized by the Bloomberg Philanthropies Foundation, which was founded by Michael Bloomberg, the former Mayor of New York.

Today, Tallinn unveiled a Climate Strategy that sets the goal of making the capital climate neutral by 2050. The progressive Tallinn Sustainable Energy and Climate Change Adaptation Plan aims to reduce the urban and economic impact on the climate in a way that enriches the economy and the urban environment. The city is welcoming citizens' feedback on the climate strategy until April 7 at rohepoore@tallinnlv.ee.

If needed, the Tallinn Social and Health Care Board, in cooperation with the capital's hospitals and ambulances, will ensure that COVID-19 patients are safely transported home from the medical institution.
