The Tallinn Urban Environment and Public Works Department and the Tallinn City Centre Administration have introduced redevelopment plans for Petrooleumi Street.

To ensure environmentally friendly disposal of old Christmas trees, Tallinn has opened 83 collection points where residents can drop off their trees free of charge. Trees can also be taken to waste stations or have them picked up by the local waste management service.

Through its Test in Tallinn program, the City of Tallinn offers companies the opportunity to test their innovative products and services designed for a smart city. In the January application round, four new innovation projects were selected to proceed to the testing phase.

The construction of the new Kullo Hobby Center building is set to begin soon. Tallinn Property Department has signed a contract with AS Merko Ehitus Eesti for the construction of the building and officially handed over the construction site to the contractor today. A new wood repair workshop will be built at Paljassaare waste station in Tallinn (Paljassaare põik 5) alongside existing reuse rooms. This initiative follows circular economy principles, making the waste station more environmentally friendly and user-oriented.

As part of the European Capital of Sport programme, an Ice Sports Day will take place on Saturday, March 22, starting at 10:00 at Tondiraba Ice Hall.

The Tallinn Property Department will remove Soviet Union symbols from the Nõmme District Government building located at Valdeku 13, which was constructed in the 1950s.

The City of Tallinn will once again offer free legal counselling to residents in 2025, with consultation days scheduled in each city district. The next counselling sessions will take place on 19 March from 9:00–13:00 at the Põhja-Tallinn District Government and on 21 March from 9:00–13:00 at the City Centre Social Centre.
