The international sail training organization Sail Training International has confirmed the host ports for the 2028 Tall Ships Races regatta. One of the selected ports is Tallinn.

Tallinn is developing a modern, people-friendly, and green Main Street along Narva maantee and Pärnu maantee, stretching from the Jõe–Pronksi intersection to Vabaduse väljak. The construction of Utilitas’ wastewater and seawater heat pump plant and seawater pumping station to be built in Paljassaare began today. The emission-free plant will start supplying heat to Tallinn’s district heating network in the winter season of 2026.

This October, the county bus layover area at Balti jaam station will be closed. As a result, the final stops for many county lines in Tallinn will be relocated, with buses instead terminating at Vabaduse väljak, Viru väljak, and Teatri väljak.
