Following a summer break, the next legal advice days will be held on September 5 from 1 pm to 6 pm in the Lasnamäe district administration, and on September 19 from 1 pm to 6 pm in the Kristiine district administration.

This year, Tallinn continues to support projects that enhance residents' environmental awareness and improve gardening opportunities in the city.

As a UNESCO City of Music, Tallinn pays special attention to music events that that add vibrancy to the city's cultural lineup. For the first round of music project grants in 2024, the city will allocate a total of €154,070 to support 32 initiatives. A record number of 90 projects were submitted for this funding round.

This year, the Tallinn Education Board is supporting the activities of private hobby schools with €344,000 to ensure diverse extracurricular education for children and young people. The grant is intended for the payment of teachers' salaries, the purchase of teaching materials, and the coverage of operating costs.

Tomorrow, on April 30, the community-based parent education center 'Kesklinna Perepesa' will open its doors at Asula Street 11. The center offers advice and support in parenting, mental health, and maintaining family relationships. All families, from expecting parents to those with children ready to start school, are welcome. Today, in a special session, the Tallinn City Government appointed new governors for the districts of Kesklinn, Pirita, and Põhja-Tallinn. Starting today, May 3, Sander Andla will lead Kesklinn, Doris Raudsepp will head Pirita, and Külli Tammur will manage Põhja-Tallinn. All candidates have also received approval from their respective district councils.

The City of Tallinn is planning to design a summer street on Aia Street in the Old Town in 2025, and a survey was conducted among residents this summer to gather input on the spatial design. On Wednesday, September 18, at 5:30 pm, a co-creation workshop will be held at Aia Street 12, where the community can continue shaping the future of Aia Street Summer Street.

Beginning September 14, 2024, Tallinn residents will be able to use municipal school stadiums and sports fields free of charge on weekends and during school holidays, throughout the entire year. During the weekdays, these stadiums will be reserved for school activities.
