Open vaccination points in ten Tallinn schools over the weekend
Friday to Sunday, 27-29. On August 10 at 20-20, vaccinations can be administered without pre-registration in ten Tallinn schools, vaccination is available in every district. Until the end of August, a vaccination point will also be open in the City Office.
Tallinn opens 14 school stadiums for public use in summer
From Monday 13 June, 14 school stadiums and 4 sports fields will be open to the public in Tallinn, free of charge. At least one school stadium will be opened in each district.
Tallinners brought nearly 27 tonnes of hazardous waste during collection campaign
Over the last two weekends of May, a total of 1,444 residents of Tallinn handed over altogether 26.5 tonnes of hazardous waste in the collection campaign, and 1.5 tonnes of reusable items were donated for recycling.
Cornerstone laid for Kadriorg park Orangery
Today, 4 January, the cornerstone was laid for the Kadriorg Park Economic Building (L. Koidula 34a, Tallinn). A modern building inspired by the historical orangery is under construction, part of which will be open to visitors in the future.

Kadrioru Park orangery access street to undergo renovation

Tallinn's 2024 social sector budget focuses on strengthening social protection
Tallinn’s social sector budget for 2024 prioritizes providing need-based services and support to its residents, ensuring social well-being. The budget allocates €121.9 million for operational costs and €9.7 million for investments. Operational expenses in the social sector are set to increase by 22%, with enhanced support for the elderly and children. The 2024 budget for Tallinn awaits approval by the City Council.
