For the eighth time, Tallinn will host Days National Cultures from 16 to 25 September, highlighting the national minorities and their cultures living in Tallinn. The event offers free concerts, film screenings, picnics, language and culture cafés, children's events and much more.

This week, the ACES of Europe Validation Committee got to know the opportunities for sports and the organisation of sports in Tallinn – the prerequisites for the title of European Capital of Sport 2025 are created by local and national sport events taking place here in addition to the infrastructure supporting sports. The winner will be declared this November.

International rating agency Fitch has affirmed Tallinn's long-term credit rating at its current high level of AA-, but revised the rating outlook to negative.

As the cold weather season is arriving, all public water taps will be closed. However, Tallinn plans to install new public water taps next season. Right now, residents can suggest locations for the new water taps.

To promote the separate collection of bio-waste, Tallinn is distributing bio-waste collection containers free of charge to everybody interested.
