On Saturday, June 1, the official beach season begins at Tallinn's public beaches. All five beaches are ready to welcome visitors.

In May, the Tallinn Waste Centre (Jäätmekeskus) organized two campaigns for the free collection of waste. The hazardous waste and reusable items collection rounds took place on two consecutive weekends, May 11–12 and May 18–19. The large waste free disposal campaign was held from May 6 to 12.

The City of Tallinn, in collaboration with Hayden AI, is piloting automated monitoring of bus lanes and bus stops as part of the "Test in Tallinn" project to determine the number of traffic violations along two critical routes in the city center. Starting today, 22 April, property owners in Tallinn can begin submitting applications for compensation related to the 2025 land tax increase. The first to be processed will be applications from those whose land tax is up to €100 and who have already paid the full amount. Those whose land tax exceeds €100 — with the second installment due on 1 October — have time to apply, as their applications will be processed starting from 2 October.

The public discussion on the draft design conditions for the Pelguranna tramline will take place on 6 May at 17:30 at Tallinna Pelgulinna Riigigümnaasium. Experts will present feedback received on the draft, outline future plans, and answer participants' questions.
