Tallinn Mayor Mihhail Kõlvart is in Helsinki today to meet Mayor Juhana Vartiainen on the issue of twin-city cooperation. The two mayors will sign a new Tallinn-Helsinki Memorandum of Understanding and agree on joint priorities for action.
On Monday 11 April, a school for children of war refugees from Ukraine will be opened in Tallinn. The school, which is a branch of Tallinn Lilleküla Gymnasium, will be located in a building belonging to Tallinn University on Räägu Street.

From Sunday, 1 May, the navigation season on the ferry route between Tallinn and the island of Aegna will start, with the vessel departing from Patarei Harbour from the Linnahall quay and sailing to Aegna in 30 minutes.
Last March, Tallinn introduced the first day sick leave benefit as a measure of limiting the spread of coronavirus and encouraging people with illness symptoms to stay home from work at once. This benefit will be applicable for sick leaves initiated until 31 May 2022.
