On 1 June, Tallinn public transport system will be adjusted to summer timetable, so the schedules of many bus lines and all tram and trolleybus lines will change.
As of Monday, 9 January, buses of express bus line 14 will stop at the Vineeri bus stop and buses of the express bus line 46 will stop at the Humala bus stop. Bus No 59 will stop at Pikakari bus stop.
Because of the annual public Defence Forces Parade, taking place on Vabaduse väljak, new traffic regulations will be put into force on Thursday 23 February, from 18:30 pm and Friday, 24 February from 8-17.
On New Year's Eve, due to a concert at Freedom Square, the area will be closed to traffic and bus and trolley lines passing through will be rerouted. To ensure everyone can conveniently return home, key public transport lines in the city will operate until 3 am on January 1.
The renovation of Jõe and Pronksi streets is coming to a close, and the streets will be open to traffic on Friday, October 20. The traffic situation will also be improved with the simultaneous opening of the Narva mnt–Jõe–Pronksi and Narva mnt–Laikmaa–Hobujaama intersections. The street opening will bring several changes to the bus routes passing through the city center.
On Thursday, November 16, both lanes of Narva maantee at the Narva maantee - Laikmaa - Hobujaama intersection will reopen. Following that, the intersection of Gonsiori and Reimani Streets, as well as the sections of Logi and Sadama Streets, will gradually reopen for traffic.
From 7 March, construction works will start for the first phase of the Vanasadama tramline, causing changes in the traffic regulation in the city center. The construction will begin on Gonsiori and Laikmaa streets, which will lead to the closure of Gonsiori street in the direction out of the city center between Laikmaa and Reimani streets and Laikmaa street between Gonsiori and Narva mnt towards Narva mnt.
From Monday, 3 July, the Narva mnt-Hobujaama-Laikmaa intersection will be closed as part of the next stage of the Vanasadam tramway construction. As such, tram lines 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be halted until the end of August. Viru terminal will be temporarily closed and public transport redirected.
With the reopening of Hobujaama and Laikmaa streets to public transport on October 21, all temporary bus route diversions caused by the construction of the Old City Harbour tram line will come to an end.
