Tallinn commits to systematic noise reduction efforts
The Tallinn City Government has approved the initiative to draft the "Tallinn Environmental Noise Reduction Action Plan 2024–2028." This plan aligns with the "Tallinn 2035" development strategy and the city's mobility plan, aiming to manage environmental noise within the city, particularly noise resulting from transportation and industry.

For the upcoming year, Tallinn's budget allocates nearly 396 million euros for educational operations, representing almost 41% of the total operating costs. The primary focuses include the transition to Estonian-language education, increased investment, and raising the minimum wage for teachers.
Record number of proposals submitted for participatory budgeting
Tallinn's participatory budgeting for 2024 saw the submission of 491 proposals, surpassing the previous record by 76 and achieving the best result in four years. An expert committee will evaluate the feasibility of these ideas. The projects to be implemented will be decided through public voting.

Song and Dance Celebration 2025
From 3 to 6 July, the 28th Song and 21st Dance Celebration “Iseoma” will take place in Tallinn. During the event, shuttle buses will take visitors from the city centre to the dance and song celebration venues and bring them back again. Those attending the Song Celebration can leave their vehicle in various car parks and travel to the Song Festival Grounds using public transport.
