A week ago, the official beach season ended at five public beaches in Tallinn, and 38 G4S beach guards, who ensured safety and order during the summer, also finished their work. This year’s season passed calmly and without major problems.

The Tallinn City Government recently adopted a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan, which was discussed at the City Council meeting on Thursday. Among other things, the plan proposes a review of the current parking policy, but the discount for residents will remain.

All residents are invited to participate in the voting for Tallinn's best athlete and team of the year 2023.

To promote separate collection of bio-waste, the City of Tallinn will provide residents of detached houses, semi-detached houses, terraced houses and two-apartment houses with home composters and collection containers on preferential terms. Applications will be accepted from 15 September until composters and bins are available.
