Tallinn is planning a reconstruction of Värvi, Mustjõe and Veskimetsa streets to provide a more safe environment to all road users. The public introduction of the reconstruction project of the three streets will take place on Tuesday 15 November at 5:30 pm in the Kristiine district government hall (Metalli 5).
Tallinn's 2023 budget includes bridge funding through Tallinn Industrial Parks to start construction of the Tallinn Film Wonderland. In the area of entrepreneurship, attention will also be paid to promoting Tallinn as an attractive tourist destination, supporting small businesses and green innovation. Operational expenditure is planned to be €2.6 million.
During the free waste collection week, almost three times as much bulky waste was brought to Tallinn’s waste collection stations than during a regular week in November.
According to the draft budget for Tallinn 2023, the priorities in the field of transport are the development and modernization of the public transport network and improving environmental approaches of public transport in the capital. It will also ensure that public transport continues to be free of charge for the residents of Tallinn.
From 7 March, construction works will start for the first phase of the Vanasadama tramline, causing changes in the traffic regulation in the city center. The construction will begin on Gonsiori and Laikmaa streets, which will lead to the closure of Gonsiori street in the direction out of the city center between Laikmaa and Reimani streets and Laikmaa street between Gonsiori and Narva mnt towards Narva mnt.
On Monday, 20 February, at 10 am traffic regulations will change on Pronksi street. On Pronksi and Jõe streets one lane will be opened on both streets in both directions.
Due to the reconstruction works, Pronksi tn will be closed to normal traffic from 10 March from 7 pm until 12 March at 10 pm in the section from Narva mnt to Tartu mnt. Normal traffic will be maintained along Gonsiori tn, and from Tartu mnt and Liivalaia tn it will be possible to travel along Pronksi tn until J. Kunderi tn.
