The result of more than a year’s worth of mapping urban art pieces in Tallinn is a user-friendly map application. It compiles an overview of art pieces in Tallinn’s public spaces, including installations, sculptures, monuments, monumental paintings and street art.
Tallinn's open-air ice rinks are set to open in mid-November. Mustamäe and Lasnamäe rinks will open on November 11, Nõmme and Old Town rinks on November 18. Schools can schedule free sessions on the rinks, and seniors are offered complimentary access.
At the beginning of last year, Tallinn launched the Test in Tallinn programme, initiated by Mayor Mihhail Kõlvart, inviting companies to test new technologies in urban spaces and systems. The focus was on tests in urban mobility, renewable energy and energy saving. To date, a total of 37 test project applications have been received, of which 21 have been accepted.
