Tallinn to build new tramways on Liivalaia Street and to Pelguranna
Tallinn is planning to construct new tramways on Liivalaia Street and along the Pollinator Highway (Putukaväil) leading to Pelguranna. This week, the City Government sent a proposal to the Ministry of Climate for European Union funding to expand the city's tram network. The plan involves adding three kilometers of new tracks.
Tram line 5 to resume service in November
Tram line 5 will resume service in Tallinn on November 1, operating along the Kopli-Vana-Lõuna route for the first time since 2004. Temporary tram line number 6, which was established due to the construction work in the city center, will continue to operate until October 31.

The 13th Youth Song and Dance Celebration taking place next week brings temporary traffic changes to the City Centre and Song Festival Ground areas during the event and the days preceding it.
