To promote the separate collection of bio-waste, Tallinn is distributing bio-waste collection containers free of charge to everybody interested.

As the cold weather season is arriving, all public water taps will be closed. However, Tallinn plans to install new public water taps next season. Right now, residents can suggest locations for the new water taps.

This year the City of Tallinn offers free legal advice to residents on ten consultation days, scheduled in each city district. The first consultation day will take place this Friday, 17 March from 9 am to 6 pm at the Nõmme District Government.

This autumn, Tallinn is planning several updates to the public transport network to improve connections between city districts and offer more convenient transfer options. On Thursday, November 7, the Tallinn Urban Environment and Public Works Department will host a public meeting to present the proposed design guidelines for Liivalaia Street. Attendees will have the opportunity to review public comments received during the initial display period and share additional feedback on the project.

Tallinn is planning to build a new Pelguranna tram line to create a faster and more convenient connection between Põhja-Tallinn and the city center. From March 4 to 25, all interested parties can share their opinions on the project’s planning conditions via the Pelguranna tram website. These conditions will define the key requirements and guidelines for the construction of the tramway.

The City of Tallinn will once again offer free legal counselling to residents in 2025, with consultation days scheduled in each city district. The next counselling sessions will take place on 19 March from 9:00–13:00 at the Põhja-Tallinn District Government and on 21 March from 9:00–13:00 at the City Centre Social Centre.

The next consultation dates are 3 April at the Kesklinn Social Centre, 10 April at the Lasnamäe District Government, and 17 April at the Haabersti Vaba Aja Keskus – all between 9:00 and 13:00.
