After a two-year break, last week saw the Birgitta Festival, one of Tallinn’s signature music festivals, organised by the Tallinn Philharmonic. This year's spectacular music event, which took place in the ruins of Pirita Convent from 6 to 14 August, focused on the creation of the Finnish-Estonian musical bridge and attracted 4,244 music lovers to the unique concert venue.
From 15 to 17 September, thousands of lights will be lit in Kadriorg Park, Pae Park, Tallinn Old Town and Männi Park, inviting residents and visitors to take an illuminated walk. The theme of this year's outdoor light festival 'Valgus Kõnnib' (Wandering Lights Festival) is "Stories of the night".
This Sunday, 6 November, admission to museums affiliated to Tallinn Museum is free of charge. The next and last Museum Sunday in which the entry is free will take place on 4 December.
Tomorrow, on 25 November, from 8am to 9am, three sports halls and three winter swimming centers will host a Sports Morning. All participants will be granted free entry.
