SA Tallinna Kultuurikatel received the internationally known ecolabel Green Key, which lets visitors know that the company’s activities are environmentally friendly.

Today, Estonia’s largest maritime and family event published its programme. From 14-16 July, three of the capital’s ports (Vanasadam cruise area, Lennusadam and Noblessner harbour campus) will be hosting a densely packed cultural programme and many maritime activities.

Tram line 5 will resume service in Tallinn on November 1, operating along the Kopli-Vana-Lõuna route for the first time since 2004. Temporary tram line number 6, which was established due to the construction work in the city center, will continue to operate until October 31.

From November 1, tram line No. 5 will be reinstated in Tallinn, operating on the Kopli-Vana-Lõuna route. The temporary tram route No. 6, connecting Tondi and Kopli, will end its service. All trams' schedules will be updated to work better together. The schedules for trolleybus routes will also be updated to improve their efficiency.

Under the aegis of UNESCO City of Music, the first musical trail entitled "Cellars of old town" has been created in Tallinn. The renovated Miiamilla Children's Museum was opened on January 11 by the Estonian President Alar Karis, Sirje Karis, Mayor of Tallinn Mihhail Kõlvart, and children who contributed to the museum’s completion. Tallinn Central Library and its branch libraries will open from 9 AM during the first half of next week, from January 22 to 24, coinciding with the beginning of the teachers' strike. They welcome children and students to come in for reading and studying.

As the nationwide strike of general education school teachers begins on Monday, January 22, most of Tallinn's municipal general education schools will participate. Starting from Wednesday, January 24, support strikes will also be initiated by employees of pre-school, hobby, and vocational education institutions.
