On Monday, 20 February, at 10 am traffic regulations will change on Pronksi street. On Pronksi and Jõe streets one lane will be opened on both streets in both directions.
On Monday 20 February the next stage of the reconstruction of Vana-Kalamaja street will begin. The construction works will bring new traffic regulations to Toompuiestee and Nunne intersection. The temporary regulations will remain in force until May.
The public presentation of the project of the Majaka intersection and the Lasnamäe street light traffic route will take place on 16 February at 18.30 in Tallinn Service School (Majaka 2).
The number of journeys by public transport in Tallinn has started to increase again. The number of journeys has increased by more than 30% when comparing the first months of 2023 with the first months of 2022.
Construction work on Tallinna Vesi’s water and sewer lines continues on Suur-Ameerika street. The project has reached a phase where previously closed sections will begin to reopen to traffic.
Due to construction work, the Mere puiestee bus stop will be closed from July 3, and the Vabaduse väljak stops on Kaarli puiestee towards the city centre will be closed from July 8. The project includes the construction of new bike and pedestrian paths, tree planting, and the reconstruction of water and sewer systems.
The reconstruction of Lastekodu street and the construction of communication lines at the intersection of Liivalaia street, Tartu maantee, and Rävala puiestee will bring traffic changes and public transport reroutes starting July 15. Traffic controllers will assist in guiding the traffic flow.
Due to the construction of a pedestrian tunnel on Paldiski road, Baltic Station will be closed for rail traffic from July 15 to 21. During this period, the starting and ending points for passenger trains will be at Lilleküla, Kitseküla, and Tallinn-Väike train stops.
Due to construction work at the intersection of Tööstuse, Kopli, and Sitsi streets, the route of bus line No. 73 will be temporarily altered in both directions from July 22 to August 11. Additional stops will also be introduced.
