Cleantech Estonia is looking for master students, post-graduates and young professionals to lead the transformation that society needs to be more sustainable.

On Monday 11 April, a school for children of war refugees from Ukraine will be opened in Tallinn. The school, which is a branch of Tallinn Lilleküla Gymnasium, will be located in a building belonging to Tallinn University on Räägu Street.

The organisers of the Birgitta Festival presented the highlights of the festival, which will take place from 6 to 14 August. Last March, Tallinn introduced the first day sick leave benefit as a measure of limiting the spread of coronavirus and encouraging people with illness symptoms to stay home from work at once. This benefit will be applicable for sick leaves initiated until 31 May 2022.

The Tallinn City Government has decided to continue the full rent exemption for outdoor terraces in the city until the end of May this year, with a 50 per cent rental discount from the beginning of June until the end of August. Full rent exemption will again be applied from the beginning of September until the end of December this year.

The Tallinn Urban Environment and Public Works Department has launched an international public procurement procedure for the design and construction of a two-kilometre tramway linking the Tallinn’s Old City Harbour, or Vanasadam, with the planned Rail Baltic Ülemiste passenger terminal.

The international ratings agency Fitch has affirmed Tallinn’s long-term credit rating AA- with a stable outlook.
