Grazing season has begun at the Paljassaare beach meadow – the Tallinn Urban Environment and Public Works Department initiative to maintain beach meadows with the help of Highland cattle for the sixth year running.

The Tallinn City Government established a care cost limit of 734 euros for general care services and a limit of 70 euros per month for exempting a relative of a service recipient with a lower income from the obligation to pay. This means that as of 1 July, recipients of the service will receive compensation of up to 734 euros for the cost of their nursing home spot and their relatives will be exempted from their co-payment obligation for up to 705 euros.

The international sustainable tourism destinations conference Green Destinations 2023 is being held in Tallinn, the European Green Capital 2023. During the conference, a cooperation memorandum for a green corridor between Estonia and Finland was signed. Several Estonian tourism destinations have been part of the Green Destinations network for four years now.
