Tenth Tallinn Day dictation to take place in Town Hall Square
The traditional Tallinn Day dictation will take place this Friday, 13 May, starting at 12 noon on Town Hall Square. Everyone interested in the Estonian language, students and adults alike, is welcome to test their language skills.

Rävala puiestee closed and public transport diverted due to Europe Day concert
Due to the Europe Day concert by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tallinn city centre, the intersections of Rävala puiestee with Lembitu and Lauteri streets and the squares of Teatri and Islandi will be closed to traffic today, 9 May from 6.30pm until midnight.
Tallinn holds nine youth festivals this summer
A total of nine youth festivals will take place across Tallinn during the summer, focusing on extreme sports, street art and dance, and music. The summer of festivals kicks off on 14 May in Männi Park as part of Tallinn Day.
The third Tallinn Museum Sunday will be on 15 May, Tallinn Day
From May, Tallinn's free Museum Sundays will be joined by The Estonian Museum of Contemporary Art in Põhja-Tallinn and the Gallery of Kaja Cultural Centre in Mustamäe.
Filtri tee closed to traffic on 8 and 9 May
Filtri tee in the Kesklinn district will be closed to normal traffic on Sunday and Monday, 8 and 9 May from 9am to 11pm on the section from the Tallinn Central Bus Station to Veskiposti street. Restrictions do not apply to public transport and local residents.
Tallinners can take part in a range of Let's Do It clean-ups
This weekend, Tallinners can get involved in a series of community clean-ups and help make the city cleaner as part of the Let's Do It campaign. Helping hands are welcome in Põhja-Tallinn, Haabersti, Kesklinn, Nõmme and Kristiine districts, and activities take place on Friday and Saturday.
New exhibition in Tammsaare Park highlights Tallinn's unique biodiversity
The Tallinn European Green Capital 2023 bureau opened an exhibition on Tallinn's biodiversity in Tammsaare Park, which will remain open until the end of May. The exhibition highlights Tallinn's more special and unusual species and their habitats.
