Cleantech Estonia is looking for master students, post-graduates and young professionals to lead the transformation that society needs to be more sustainable.

On Monday 11 April, a school for children of war refugees from Ukraine will be opened in Tallinn. The school, which is a branch of Tallinn Lilleküla Gymnasium, will be located in a building belonging to Tallinn University on Räägu Street.

This week Tallinn hosted the European Green Capital (EGC) Troika network meeting. 14 guests from Lahti and Grenoble visited Tallinn to learn about our plans for the European Green Capital year 2023. A home doctor pilot project continues in Tallinn to ensure that children with health emergencies receive medical care at the weekend. Almost 270 home visits have been made this year. Home visits will be temporarily suspended for the summer months before resuming in September.

Last March, Tallinn introduced the first day sick leave benefit as a measure of limiting the spread of coronavirus and encouraging people with illness symptoms to stay home from work at once. This benefit will be applicable for sick leaves initiated until 31 May 2022.
