Starting from 1 August, several bus line numbers and routes will be changed – the changes will affect lines number 8, 17, 17A, 35, 42, 43, 48, 67 and 68.

Tallinn has been offering residents free legal advice since March. Consultation days are held in each district according to a schedule. Starting on 7 August, a pilot project will be launched in collaboration with the electric scooter rental services Bolt and Tuul. This project aims to create 126 new spaces in the Tallinn city centre specifically designed for parking scooters. The purpose of this project is to make the city space more organised and to make the parking of light vehicles safer for pedestrians. Electric scooter users will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the new parking places and their usage until the end of August. Starting from 1 September, the changes will become mandatory, meaning that electric vehicle rentals will only be allowed to end at the designated parking areas.

The Tallinn Strategic Management Office will conduct a survey in August among night bus users to determine their expectations and preferences regarding the service. The results will aid in better understanding the typical profile of a night bus user, evaluating the outcomes of the pilot project and planning the future use of night buses.

City Government submitted Tallinn’s consolidated annual financial reports for the year 2022 to the Council for approval – at the end of last year, the consolidation group had a revenue of 89 million euros, total assets of 2.13 billion euros and net assets of 1.66 billion euros.

This summer, for the first time, Tallinn will host the world's largest international sail training regatta, Tall Ships Races 2024, offering young people aged 15–25 the opportunity to participate in a sail training program. The Tallinn Property Department has finalized a contract with Bergland OÜ to introduce independent backup power systems across five key facilities in Tallinn. This initiative will outfit these locations with stationary diesel generators, securing a continuous electricity supply for the city's emergency response centers.

In light of the upcoming shift to Estonian-language education for fourth graders starting September 1, the City of Tallinn is supporting additional activities that schools are conducting to prepare third graders. Fifteen schools have applied for project funding, involving over 1,000 children in these activities so far.
