Construction works on Odra Street are nearing completion, and the street will be reopened to traffic starting Monday, 19 May. Bus routes 54 and 67 will also return to their normal routes.

In July last year, reconstruction began on the Kadaka puiestee bridge in Tallinn, which had reached the end of its service life and become structurally unsafe. As of Monday, the new bridge will be complete and open to traffic. Public transport will return to its regular routes in the first half of next week.

Tallinn Mayor Jevgeni Ossinovski has signed a directive terminating the official duties of Deputy Mayors Pärtel-Peeter Pere and Viljar Jaamu in their respective areas of responsibility. The City of Tallinn has cancelled the bicycle shelter procurement initiated by the Tallinn Urban Environment and Public Works Department, as all bids significantly exceeded the expected cost. The department has been tasked with launching a new tender that incorporates expert recommendations and ensures a reasonable price. The bike shelters are set to be built for the next cycling season in spring

At today’s City Government meeting on 29 July, Deputy Mayor Viljar Jaamu submitted his letter of resignation. His term of office will end on 30 July 2025.

From 4–7 August, Tallinn will host the 57th International Children’s Games (ICG) – the world’s largest multi-sport event for 12–15-year-olds, officially recognised by the International Olympic Committee. The competition brings together city delegations from across the globe.

Starting 1 August, the Hundi tee Park & Ride car park in Viimsi municipality will join Tallinn’s Park and Ride network, offering residents the option to park their vehicles securely and continue to the city centre by free public transport.
