The northern section of Ahtri Street in the Tallinn city centre will reopen to traffic on Monday, 6 November, improving traffic flow in the area.

Starting from October 1, tram lines No. 1 and 3 will fully resume service. Additionally, construction work at the intersection of Põhja puiestee and Kursi Street will conclude, improving traffic flow in the city center.

Tallinn Marathon will draw around 20,000 sports enthusiasts from over 70 countries to the districts of Põhja-Tallinn, Kesklinn, and Haabersti from 8 to 10 September. This will lead to temporary changes in Tallinn's traffic and public transport.

Next year's budget for Tallinn's education sector includes a pay rise for school and nursery school teachers. The 2023 budget also includes increased payments for school lunches and other investments for educational establishments.

By order of the Tallinn City Government, from 1 February the names of the child protection services of the district social welfare departments will be changed to child welfare services, and child protection specialists will become child welfare specialists.

Tallinn City Government has determined the locations of polling stations for the March elections.

On Monday 20 February the next stage of the reconstruction of Vana-Kalamaja street will begin. The construction works will bring new traffic regulations to Toompuiestee and Nunne intersection. The temporary regulations will remain in force until May.

From 7 March, construction works will start for the first phase of the Vanasadama tramline, causing changes in the traffic regulation in the city center. The construction will begin on Gonsiori and Laikmaa streets, which will lead to the closure of Gonsiori street in the direction out of the city center between Laikmaa and Reimani streets and Laikmaa street between Gonsiori and Narva mnt towards Narva mnt.

From 1 February, applications can be submitted to the Tallinn Urban Planning Department for the restoration of cultural monuments, buildings in the Old Town heritage protection area and areas of milieu value, as well as valuable buildings designated by planning.
