The Tallinn City Government has adopted a regulation amending the procedure for issuing permits for vehicle access to the pedestrian area of Tallinn Old Town.
From 25 to 28 August, Tallinn Maritime Days will bring top-class artists, exciting family activities and a host of unique ships to four Tallinn ports: Old Passenger Harbour, Seaplane Harbour, Noblessner Marina and Haven Kakumäe Marina.

The reconstruction of Varraku Street, which began in April 2024, is now complete, transforming the street into a safer and more pedestrian-friendly space.
From July 11 to 14, Tallinn will host the world’s largest sailing training regatta, Tall Ships Races, at Lennusadam, Noblessner Harbour, and the Old City Harbour cruise area. Over the course of four days, the harbors will be filled with a festive atmosphere – visitors can explore sailing ships, enjoy performances by Estonia’s top artists, and participate in activities both on land and at sea.
Tallinn has signed a three-year contract with Forus Taxi to provide social transport taxi services for people with special needs, following their sole bid in the public procurement.
From March 5 to June 15, construction work will take place on Odra Street, temporarily closing the street to traffic. Bus lines no. 54 and 67 will be rerouted. Access will be maintained for local residents, pedestrians, and cyclists.
The Tallinn Transport Authority and the city of Tartu are participating in a joint project to implement Mobility as a Service (MaaS) to connect public and private transport between Tallinn and Tartu.
