The public transport of Tallinn will switch over to winter working hours on 1 September, which means that the timetables of many bus routes and all tram and trolleybus routes will change.
Due to the Europe Day concert by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tallinn city centre, the intersections of Rävala puiestee with Lembitu and Lauteri streets and the squares of Teatri and Islandi will be closed to traffic today, 9 May from 6.30pm until midnight.
On Saturday and Sunday, 4-5 September, Tallinn celebrates the beginning of the Green Mobility Month and holds an event “Green Journey in the Heart of the City”, which will take place on Estonia puiestee and Tammsaare Park to raise awareness about green mobility and encourage sustainable means of transport.

The renovation of Jõe and Pronksi streets is coming to a close, and the streets will be open to traffic on Friday, October 20. The traffic situation will also be improved with the simultaneous opening of the Narva mnt–Jõe–Pronksi and Narva mnt–Laikmaa–Hobujaama intersections. The street opening will bring several changes to the bus routes passing through the city center.
On Thursday, November 16, both lanes of Narva maantee at the Narva maantee - Laikmaa - Hobujaama intersection will reopen. Following that, the intersection of Gonsiori and Reimani Streets, as well as the sections of Logi and Sadama Streets, will gradually reopen for traffic.
Starting from 1 August, several bus line numbers and routes will be changed – the changes will affect lines number 5, 6, 8, 17, 17A, 35, 42, 43, 48, 67 and 68.

As a result of construction work on Valukoja street, bus lines 7, 15, 45, 49, 64 and 65 will have their routes and bus stop locations changed from May 22 to June 2. In addition, the route of bus line 52 will be changing in the direction of Ülemiste station.
