On Saturday, 11 February, free entry is granted to all children up to the age of 19 in Tallinn Zoo. Free visits take place on the second Saturday of every month until April.
The public presentation of the project of the Majaka intersection and the Lasnamäe street light traffic route will take place on 16 February at 18.30 in Tallinn Service School (Majaka 2).
The City of Tallinn is planning a reconstruction of Valge street in Lasnamäe. The aim of the reconstruction is to make the road more accessible and safer for all road users. The public presentation of the project will take place on 21 February at 5:30 pm at the Lasnamäe District Government (Pallasti 54).
From 7 March, construction works will start for the first phase of the Vanasadama tramline, causing changes in the traffic regulation in the city center. The construction will begin on Gonsiori and Laikmaa streets, which will lead to the closure of Gonsiori street in the direction out of the city center between Laikmaa and Reimani streets and Laikmaa street between Gonsiori and Narva mnt towards Narva mnt.
As part of the Be Active Year, all residents of Tallinn will have the opportunity to go winter swimming for free at the Pirita and Nõmme winter swimming centres. Instructors and a warm sauna will be available on site.

18 linden trees on Ahtri and Kai streets and Narva Road will be replanted in a new location because of the construction of the Vanasadama tramway. Work on Kai Street will start today, on 11 April.
Residents’ satisfaction with the selection of cultural events taking place in Tallinn has returned to a level as high as it was before Covid-19 but the opportunities to visit these events as much as wanted is in a downward trend. The most popular cultural events organised by the city are Tallinn Old Town Days and Tallinn Maritime Days.
