Tallinn Day to be celebrated with two major concerts and events across the city
This year marks the 777th anniversary of the day Tallinn received Lübeck city rights. This important historical milestone will be celebrated for the 24th time with Tallinn Day, taking place from 12–18 May. A full week of events and activities awaits all residents and visitors.
Medical assistance during Midsummer holidays
During the upcoming extended holiday period, Tallinn residents in need of medical care can turn to the emergency departments of local hospitals. Tallinn Dental Clinic and on-duty pharmacies will remain open, and the family doctor advisory line will also be available.
Baltic Sea Day to be celebrated with a clean-up, hike and orienteering
On Thursday, 28 August, Baltic Sea Day will be celebrated across all countries bordering the Baltic Sea. In Tallinn, a diverse, family-friendly event will take place at Pikakari Beach and the Paljassaare Peninsula. Some activities require pre-registration, which is already open.
Free legal advice available in Kristiine and Põhja-Tallinn in June
The City of Tallinn is offering free legal advice to residents during scheduled consultation days in each district. The next consultation days will be on June 6 from 9:00 to 14:00 at the Kristiine District Government office and on June 13 from 13:00 to 18:00 at the Põhja-Tallinn District Government office.
38 school stadiums opened for public use this summer
Starting from June 13 until August 30, Tallinn will open 38 municipal school stadiums for free public use. The official Launch will take place on June 13 at noon at the Kristiine Spordimaja's outdoor field, with a concert by Clicherik & Mäx and OLLIE in the evening at the Pelgulinna School stadium.
Supportive housing facility to be built in Mustamäe
The Tallinn Property Department is set to build a supportive housing facility at Tammsaare tee 135 in Mustamäe, which will offer municipal housing for the elderly, people with disabilities, and young families. Construction work will begin this week and is expected to be completed by August 2025, with a total cost of just over 9.6 million euros.
42 school stadiums and sports fields open for public use this summer
From June 13 to August 30, Tallinn is opening 38 school stadiums and four sports fields for free public use. Sports equipment boxes, containing items like balls, will be available for borrowing on-site.
Tallinn’s ice skating rinks open for the season
Everyone is invited to enjoy the winter skating season! The Mustamäe and Lasnamäe ice rinks have been open since November 2, with the Telliskivi rink opening on November 15, Nõmme and Old Town rinks on November 16, and the Pirita Sports Center rink on November 23.
