From May, Tallinn's free Museum Sundays will be joined by The Estonian Museum of Contemporary Art in Põhja-Tallinn and the Gallery of Kaja Cultural Centre in Mustamäe.

The Tallinn European Green Capital 2023 bureau opened an exhibition on Tallinn's biodiversity in Tammsaare Park, which will remain open until the end of May. The exhibition highlights Tallinn's more special and unusual species and their habitats.

The upcoming Sunday is International Mothers' Day and to celebrate, people can visit a series of concerts in the open air and in concert halls, as well as workshops and fairs taking place in Tallinn.

A temporary prohibition on motor vehicle traffic on Astangu Street in the Haabersti district to ensure safer migration routes for amphibians, originally planned from 31 March to 14 April, will be postponed to start from 10 April to 30 April. The traffic restriction will be in force from 9 pm to 6 am on the stretch from Kotermaa Street 1 to Astangu Street 19/3. The restriction does not apply to public transport passing through Astangu Street.

In order to ensure safer migration routes for amphibians, Tallinn applies a temporary prohibition on motor vehicle traffic on Astangu Street from 31 March to 14 April from 9 pm to 6 am. The restriction involves the section of Astangu Street between Kotermaa Street 1 and Astangu Street 19/3. The traffic restriction does not apply to public transport passing through Astangu Street.

The Tallinn City Government has allocated €39 000 from its reserve fund to the Tallinn Culture and Sports Department to recognise to support athletes from Tallinn and their coaches who performed successfully at the Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. Today, 24 March at 14:00, Mayor Mihhail Kõlvart will acknowledge and congratulate the Olympic athletes and their coaches at a formal ceremony in the Town Hall.

Tallinn aims to create a nine-kilometre-long park area on a limestone cliff bordering Lasnamäe, Kesklinn and Pirita. The results of the call for ideas for the park will be presented on Thursday 31 March at 17-19 in the Lauluväljaku Klaassaal. The presentation can also be followed online.

Tallinn is ready to offer children and youth who have fled the war in Ukraine the opportunity to continue their education in primary, general and vocational education.
