As part of a charity campaign that took place throughout September, 75 schools across Estonia, including 8 Tallinn schools, received slacklines to promote physical activity among students.
Over the coming weekend, on October 9 and 10, vaccination is again organized in Tallinn schools. One school is open for vaccination on Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm and seven schools are open from 10 am to 6 pm, and in two schools, one can be vaccinated on Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. Everyone from the age of 12 are welcome to get vaccinated without pre-registration.
On November 15, at 12 noon, the city of Tallinn, in cooperation with a private medical service provider, will open four additional COVID-19 advising and vaccination points in Haabersti, Lasnamäe and Kristiine. On Wednesday, November 17, a service point will also be established in the Tallinn Baltic Station.
From 11 until 17 June, the 15th Tallinn Restaurant Week will take place which offers top-class dinging experiences and delicious meals at an affordable price in 37 restaurants in Tallinn.
On Tallinn Day, May 15, the traditional washing of the city streets will take place, which also marks the finish of this year’s Urban Maintenance Month. The street sweepers will start moving from Pirita road towards the city centre at 8 am.
Due to the construction of street lighting, one lane will be closed on the Tartu maantee between Tallinn Airport and the city border from May 14 to June 4. The sidewalk by Lake Ülemiste of the same section will be closed due to works until May 14.
On Saturday, May 15, Tallinn Day will be celebrated for the 20th time. In view of the current restrictions, various opportunities will be offered to participate in Tallinn Day from the beginning of the week.

Last week, the construction works were initiated in Tondiraba Park for creating a unique extreme sports area – a skatepark and a pumptrack. This will add environmentally friendly leisure and sports activities for citizens of all ages. The entire park will be completed by the end of this summer.
